SOYA ASAE conferred a doctorate of Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2006 having won the Grand Prize of "SHELL ART AWARD" and "VOCA 2002" in 2001 and 2002 respectively, and continues to work on both paintings and installations. These are full of light and vibrant colors with modern dynamism and sensitivity which stimulates not only the visual senses but also arouses physical emotions and reaction.
